I just discovered the TownCutler knives and was attracted to them when I saw the straight spine design of the eXo 10" Slicer (but it was sold out for Christmas) so i ordered the 6" Utility to try their knives. The knife was very light, agile and SHARP. So I ordered a second one. Just right as gifts for their intended new owners. Then I found the Baja series had the same straight spine as the eXo series. Woo Hoo, bought 3 of the 10" Slicers for gifts and 1 for me. Again the knife is light for a 10", sharp and I love the "needle sharp point". It balances well with a finger and thumb forward grip. Next gifts I ordered: a 7.5" Chopper for a cook with larger hands and an eXo curved fillet knife for a fisherman in the family. All the designs I have purchased so far are well designed & balanced, light and easy to handle (even the Chopper). And did I mention they are wickedly sharp.
