Using a leather strop is an excellent finishing step to bring your blade to that next level. Stropping your knife will remove any burrs left over from sharpening and give your knife a polished edge.
We make our strops with cow hide leather that are 8oz. thick (roughly 3+ mm). The leather is treated with a micro abrasive on both sides. The suede side is 3-5 micron and the skin side, .5 micron. Nickel hardware. Current leather is Black.
