These stones are made in Japan for us. This #1,200 grit stone is one of our favorites for it’s durability and sensitivity to pressure. The more you push with this stone the more steel is removed, without removing too much stone. The lighter the pressure the more of a polished edge will develop on your edge. This stone is used daily in our San Francisco shop and holds up to over 300 knives a week!
*This stone needs soak in water for about 3-5 minutes before use. To Increase the life of your stone don’t soak longer then 12 hours!
